A recent article by Drew Lindsay in the Chronicle of Philanthropy discussed the importance and implementation of “insight panels”. Insight panels are a version of the decades-old online focus groups, and although they’re not new in substance, I love the word “insight” instead of “focus”.
Great points! As a donor, I've actually participated in an Insight Panel with another charity and can testify to them as a wonderful engagement strategy. Plus, what a terrific way to get inside your donors' heads so you can tailor future communications to be more relevant. Thanks Lisa.
